The Farm Theater will present Bullpen Sessions: Directing New Works with special guests Daniella Topol (Artistic Director of Rattlestick Playwrights Theater) and Moritz von Stuelpnagel (Tony Award nominee for Hand to God) on Monday, December 5 from 6-8pm at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture (18 Bleecker Street).

Producer Jordan Roth announced ticket on-sale dates for the revival of Noel Coward's uproarious comedy, Present Laughter, starring Academy Award and two-time Tony Award winner Kevin Kline.

The laughs come fast and furiously as siblings Albert and Jennifer Chen struggle to figure out who to blame for their recent failures as adults. From California to China, they try on different identities in an effort to find out where they belong. Think Dorothy Gale takes a newer, hipper journey.

Due to popular demand, the Huntington Theatre Company has extended the run of its production of Tiger Style!, by Mike Lew and directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, to November 20. The added performances are Tuesday, November 15 at 7:30pm; Wednesday, November 16 at 7:30pm; Thursday, November 17 at 7:30pm; Friday, November 18 at 8pm; Saturday, November 19 at 2pm and 8pm; and Sunday, November 20 at 2pm. Artistic Director Davis McCallum and Managing Director Kate Liberman of Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival (HVSF) have announced an innovative slate of productions - including two new plays - for the Festival's 2017 summer season, running in repertory June 8 through September 4.

Back in February, BroadwayWorld reported that stage and screen star Kevin Kline would star in The Acting Company's reading presentation of Noel Coward's charming comedy PRESENT LAUGHTER. Now he's taking the show to Broadway, according to the New York Times.  

Penguin Rep Theatre, the award-winning theatre in Stony Point, New York, under the leadership of Artistic Director Joe Brancato and Executive Director Andrew M. Horn, closes its 2016 season with the New York premiere of Daniel's Husband by Michael McKeever from September 23 through October 16, 2016. In Daniel's Husband, Mitchell and Daniel are the ideal couple, everything but married. Mitchell does not believe in marriage; Daniel does. "When their life together takes a shocking and unexpected turn," says Mr. Brancato, who will stage the production at Penguin Rep, "we learn about the power and pain of love in this breathtaking new play."

On the heels of its 62nd Season, Williamstown Theatre Festival announced today that Jill Kargman, the star and creator of Bravo's hit comedy 'Odd Mom Out,' will host a benefit musical evening with Michael Cerveris, on Monday, October 24 at 7 PM at her home.

Lesser America (The Bachelors, Carnival Kids, Trevor) will present HALF MOON BAY by Dan Moyer. It is directed by Jess Chayes (AD of Peter and The Starcatcher) starring Keilly McQuail (You Got Older, Her Requiem) and Gabriel King (These Seven Sicknesses). Previews begin May 12 at Cherry Lane Theatre, where Lesser America is the inaugural Company in Residence. Opening set for Thursday, May 19.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has added a new community immersive theatre project entitled Orpheus in the Berkshires (July 14 - 17), a World Premiere production made by and for the Berkshires, as well as an exciting line-up of special events for their 62nd season.

The critically acclaimed, five-time Tony Award-nominated play Hand to God will end its London run six weeks early, according to The Stage.

Huntington Theatre Company, the 2013 recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award and Boston magazine's Best Theatre of 2013 and 2014, announces that playwright Bryony Lavery's acclaimed adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House will complete its 2016-2017 Season. The adaptation of this iconic classic will be directed by Melia Bensussen (Awake and Sing!, Luck of the Irish), and the play joins the previously announced six titles in the 2016-2017 Season.
