MEMPHIS Adds 8pm Performances to March Schedule

Starting March 6, MEMPHIS will begin a new performance schedule:Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday - Saturday evenings at 8pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2pm, and Sundays at 3pm. Please check www.telecharge.com for specific information.

Neil Patrick Harris to Host Smith Center Opening Celebration, 3/10

The Smith Center's Opening Celebration will take place Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 7:00pm. Actor Neil Patrick Harris will host the celebration which will feature performances by Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson; country artists Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris and Martina McBride; singer songwriter Carol King; trumpeter Arturo Sandoval; violinist Joshua Bell; gospel great Mavis Staples; Train lead singer Pat Monahan; and American Ballet Theater dancers Marcello Gomes and Luciana Paris.

The Public Theater announced the return of PUBLIC SINGS! tonight March 5, 2012, an unforgettable evening that celebrates the rich history of musicals produced by The Public Theater, including HAIR, A Chorus Line, and Caroline, or Change, as well as new musicals in development like February House premiering at The Public this May. Original Broadway cast member J. Bernard Calloway will return to the company as 'Delray,' following his performance in the critically acclaimed Jitney at the Two River Theater Company. Calloway will resume performances on Tuesday, February 28th. Christopher Jackson played his final performance on Sunday, February 26th.
