Rooftop Films has teamed up with LOFT to present the second annual LOL Movie Series, five free outdoor events in New York City along the East River. The series will feature laugh-out-loud comedies, live music and performances by some of Upright Citizens Brigade's funniest female comedians.  Following the films is an after party sponsored by Stella Artois.

New stories, new characters, notable guest stars set in a magical, new world -- McStuffins Toy Hospital -- mark season four of Disney Junior's award-winning animated series 'Doc McStuffins,' premiering FRIDAY, JULY 29, on Disney Junior (9:00-10:00 a.m. EDT) and  Friday, July 22, on the Disney Junior App. On Saturday, August 6, the first-ever museum exhibit dedicated to 'Doc McStuffins' will open at the world's largest children's museum, The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. The interactive experience, inviting kids and families to explore and learn about healthy habits, compassion and nurturing care, will travel to other venues across the country beginning in 2017.

In honor of the 20th Anniversary of the cult classic, MOTHER, MAY I SLEEP WITH DANGER?, Lifetime and Sony Pictures Television team up with James Franco to remake the classic TV movie, premiering Today, June 18 at 8pm ET/PT.

I can't be the only theatregoer who found the tour of CABARET chilling. During an election year where fear mongering and racial intolerance are sitting center ring, the story of pre-Holocaust Germany seems especially relevant and cautionary. But that doesn't mean the musical, which just arrived at the Winspear Opear House, isn't equally thrilling and heartfelt.

THE MEETING* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater to conclude its Spring 2016 season on Sunday, May 22 at 7:00 PM. The May show will honor the beloved late superstar Prince, with music director Tracy Stark leading a four-piece band and special musical guests Tony DeSare, Bridget Barkan, Michael Cavadias, Mark Aaron James and Ali Grieb.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return  to OASIS (298 Eleventh Street, San Francisco CA) on Saturday, May 28 at 7:00 PM after three packed shows last year. The Meeting* has been called "delicious and delightfully droll" by The New York Post and "hilarious and sardonic" by The Village Voice. A story for Slate.com called the evening "so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight." The New York run of The Meeting* - currently running monthly at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater - has been sold out since the New York Times "Arts & Leisure" piece ran last September. The 2016 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night to recipients in 18 categories, with two special awards and two honorary awards also bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted byZachary Levi, star of Broadway's She Loves Me. This year's event was once again a benefit for The Actors Fund.
