PAGEANT is a hit revival of the popular Off-Broadway musical billed as an 'all-male musical comedy beauty contest.' Cast member Seth Tucker recently made a humorous music video featuring backstage life, with the song 'Creep.'

PAGEANT has taken to Indiegogo to raise funds to record an Original Cast Album of the off-Broadway revival. This will be the first-ever cast recording of PAGEANT in its 23-year history. Watch their campaign video below!

PAGEANT is back at the Cygnet Theatre and James Vasquez is happy to be the man that directs this new production. I was able to chat with him between rehearsals to chat about bringing the Glamouresse pageant back to the stage. PAGEANT is playing at the Cygnet Theatre through Sunday, August 31.

On July 20th, 7 PM, our Pageant contestants will have to perform for judges who really know their stuff! Miss California USA, Cassandra Kunze and Miss California Teen USA, Bianca Vierra will serve as Celebrity Judges and help evaluate our 'girls' on swimsuit, physical fitness, spokes model and beauty crisis counseling. They will also be on hand pre-show to sign autographs and pose for pictures.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced complete casting for its production of Side Show that runs in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater from June 14 to July 13, 2014. Side Show features book and lyrics by Bill Russell and music by Henry Krieger, and is directed by Academy Award winner Bill Condon. Sam Davis will serve as musical director and arranger and will conduct the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra. The Kennedy Center production of Side Show is produced in association with La Jolla Playhouse. Press opening night is Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.
