In addition to previously announced honoree Alexander Payne and Cannes Best Actor award winner Bruce Dern, Academy Award-nominated actor Terence Stamp (The Limey, Billy Budd) will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award and actress Natalie Dormer ('Game of Thrones') will receive the Discovery Award as part of the 16th Annual Savannah Film Festival, which will take place from today, October 26th to November 2nd. Alec Baldwin, Miles Teller and James Toback are among the special guests attending the festival.

In addition, GAME OF THRONES' Kit Harrington, Jack O'Connell, and Miles Teller are the frontrunners to play Reed Richards, while Kate Mara, Saoirse Ronan, and Margot Robbie are being considered for Sue Storm. No names were included on who might take on the role of 'The Thing.'

MTV today announced that Shailene Woodley and Theo James, stars of Summit Entertainment's upcoming feature film, Divergent, will introduce the first look at exclusive footage live from the 2013 “MTV Video Music Awards” pre-show Sunday, August 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Summit Entertainment is a Lionsgate company.

Lakeshore Records will release THE SPECTACULAR NOW - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally today, July 30, 2013. The album features original music by Rob Simonsen (THE WAY, WAY BACK, SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD) along with the song 'Baby (feat. Sundance Institute last evening announced the Jury, Audience, NEXT <=> and other special awards of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival at the feature film Awards Ceremony, hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Park City, Utah.

A24 announced the acquisition of North American rights to Sundance favorite THE SPECTACULAR NOW. The James Ponsoldt directed film, from a script by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, has become one of the darlings of the Sundance Film Festival and features breakout performances by Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, James Ponsoldt, whose film SPECTACULAR NOW is set to premiere at Sundance this year, has been hired to adapt the young adult trilogy PURE for Fox 2000. Karen Rosenfelt is producing.
