Abingdon Theatre Company -- which has produced 85 new plays since 1994 -- concludes its 22nd Season with the world premiere of MALLORCA by two-time Emmy nominee Sheldon Bull ('Newhart'), with previews set to begin tonight, May 29, prior to an official press opening on June 7, in Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Donald Brenner (March Madness) directs this award-winning comedy set in New York City and Spain.

Abingdon Theatre Company presents a concert reading of MERTON OF THE MOVIES -- an uproarious new musical comedy set in the rollicking age of Keystone Cops, Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin, and Buster Keaton -- with book by Donald Brenner, music and lyrics by Doug Katsaros, on Monday, December 8 at 7pm at the June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street) in Manhattan. Pigs Do Fly Present 'FIFTY PLUS' at Empire Stage, Now thru 5/11

The plays have been chosen and casting is complete for Pigs Do Fly Productions' very first production - Fifty Plus - A Celebration of Life... As We Know It. Producer Ellen Wacher, along with directors Marjorie O'Neill-Butler and Beverly Blanchette and a committee made up of members of the South Florida theatrical community, spent several months weeding through the 353 short plays they received in response to their call for submissions. The final seven were selected at a marathon read through at Empire Stage on March 3rd.
