On Thursday morning members of Toronto's media were invited to the rehearsal space for Mirvish Production's All-Canadian production of The Wizard of Oz. The special 'sneak peek' event showcased two production numbers from the show, and was a chance for the cast to meet and greet the press for the first time since they were announced in November. Stratford Shakespeare Festival Announces Additional Casting in Plummer, Kennedy & Therriault Led 2010 Productions

Toronto's The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has revealed revealed additional casting for its 2010 season. The stars include Christopher Plummer, Chilina Kennedy, Juan Chioran, Michael Therriault and Geraint Wyn Davies for the Festival's productions of The Tempest, Evita, Kiss Me Kate, Peter Pan and Do Not Go Gentle. Nikki M. James, who was previously set to star alongside Plummer has withdrawn from the festival due to 'personal reasons.'
Review: 'The Producers' at Stage West Dinner Theatre

Stage West Dinner theatre offers a downsized version of the Tony winning Broadway hit. Where it works it is due to the strength of the material and the commitment of the performers. The result is still funny and entertaining, but will leave some wondering what all the hullabaloo was about when the show played on Broadway.
