Bleecker Street Opera's production of 'THE BARBER OF SEVILLE' will close on January 31.

The Barrow Group Theatre Company, the Drama Desk award-winning birthplace of this season's Broadway hit A Steady Rain, and last season's Off-Broadway hit The Temperamentals, continues their 23rd Anniversary Season with an innovative new translation and adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's classic play ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, directed by K. Lorrel Manning, and adapted by Manning and TBG Artistic Director Seth Barrish.

LOUIS S. SALAMONE 45 Bleecker and IRENE FRYDEL KIM, General Manager and Artistic Director of BLEECKER STREET OPERA are pleased to announce additional dates for ROSSINI's THE BARBER OF SEVILLE, conduced by DAVID ROSENMEYER and directed by TERESA K. POND. Performances run Saturdays at 3pm and Sundays at 7pm. The production is now extended through January 31st.

For the first time ever, festival-goers will have the chance to vote on and present an official People's Choice Award during the 'New York's Funniest Stand-Up' competition, an event that showcases the most talented newcomers and established comedians in New York.
