Cherry Lane's Fiordellisi to Step Down as Artistic Director in 2011

According to the NY Times, Cherry Lane Theatre's Angelina Fiordellisi, will resign as Artistic Director sometime between March and June of 2011. Additionally, Fiordellisi plans to sell the building, which has been a Greenwich Village staple since 1924, due to ongoing financial struggles.

Broadway In Chicago and the producers of WORKING are pleased to announce that tickets for the upcoming production of the new musical will go on sale on Friday, December 10 at 10:00 a.m. WORKING begins previews on February 15, 2011 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut).

Actors' Equity Association announced today that Charles Randolph-Wright is the recipient of the 2010 Paul Robeson Award. Created in 1974, the Award recognizes a person who best exemplifies the principles by which Mr. Robeson lived. The award will be presented to Mr. Randolph-Wright at the October 8, 2010 General Membership meeting at the Union's headquarters in New York City.
