The Public Theater will begin previews for the world premiere of THE LIBRARY on Tuesday, March 25, written by award-winning writer Scott Z. Burns. Directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh, THE LIBRARY will run through Sunday, April 27, in The Public's Newman Theater, with an official press opening on Tuesday, April 15.

The Public Theater announced complete casting today for THE LIBRARY, a new play written by award-winning writer Scott Z. Burns and directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh. The Public Theater announced today that THE LIBRARY, a world premiere drama written by award-winning writer Scott Z. Burns and directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh, has been added to The Public's 2014 spring season. THE LIBRARY, featuring Chloe Grace Moretz, will run in The Public's Newman Theater from Tuesday, March 25 through Sunday, April 27; with an official press opening on Tuesday, April 15. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

The Ogunquit Playhouse, America's Foremost Summer Theatre, will be one of the first regional premieres of the Broadway musical sensation The Addams Family. The frightfully delightful world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and, of course, Lurch come to spooky and spectacular life in this all new story, based on the bizarre and beloved characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams. The magnificently macabre family is put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling them into a night that will change their lives forever. This new musical comedy was created by Jersey Boys' authors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and Drama Desk Award winning composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa. Executive Artistic Director Bradford Kenney said, 'This hilarious family friendly musical has now been seen around the world and we are delighted to create our own production of this spooky, kooky, warm and wonderful, musical comedy. Conscious Art Features Artists with Special Needs Tonight

Anna's Angels, a North Carolina-based non-profit that supports Down syndrome research at Duke Children's Hospital, is pleased to announce its newest and most exciting event designed to showcase the art of individuals with special needs. Conscious Art will be held tonight, November 9 from 6:30-10:30 pm at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art at Levine Center for the Arts, located at 420 South Tryon Street in Charlotte. 'We are thrilled to be holding our inaugural event in Charlotte in November,' said Pfeiffer. 'We have wanted to grow Anna's Angels, and the Mecklenburg area is a perfect community to help expand our efforts. A local Charlotte family that attends our annual Gala in Cary encouraged us to introduce Anna's Angels to the Charlotte area. We are excited to be here and look forward to sharing Anna's Angels with the community.' In addition to expanding into the Charlotte market with Conscious Art, Anna's Angels wants to bring awareness to the many talented artists with special needs. 'We know there are extraordinary artists with special needs who would love an opportunity to showcase their work,' said Pfeiffer. 'This will be their gallery to show the community their talents.' All proceeds from the event go directly to Anna's Angels which funds Down syndrome research at Duke Children's Hospital and Health Center.
