Maestro LUKE FRAZIER and THE AMERICAN POPS ORCHESTRA — Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra — have announced their all-star 2017-2018 season. The diverse line-up will include a tribute to legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin, a special evening combining yoga with the APO's favorite standards, a new family show based on the classic tale Around the World in 80 Days, and a program celebrating the wit of iconic songwriter Cole Porter.  Twenty-four students from across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts advanced from this weekend's four regional semi-final competitions of the 11th annual Poetry Out Loud National Recitation Contest to compete in the State Final competition on Sunday, March 13 at the Old South Meeting House (310 Washington Street, Boston). The event begins at 9:30am and is free and open to the public.

BONES, the long-running comedic procedural beloved by millions of fans around the world, will return for a final farewell 12th season on FOX, it was announced today by Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs, Fox Television Group. The 12-episode run will celebrate the inventive series and bring the storylines of Brennan (Emily Deschanel), Booth (David Boreanaz) and the Jeffersonian-FBI team to a close, allowing the show's loyal fans to say goodbye to these indelible characters.  When BONES ends its run, the series will have completed 246 original episodes, making it one of the longest running FOX series ever.
