WAR HORSE is based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo, adapted by Nick Stafford, with Handspring Puppet Company, and directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris, with scenic design by Rae Smith, puppet design, fabrication and direction by Adrian Kohler with Basil Jones for Handspring Puppet Company, lighting by Paule Constable, direction of movement and horse movement by Toby Sedgwick, animation & projection design by 59 Productions, music by Adrian Sutton, songs by John Tams, sound design by Christopher Shutt, and musical direction by Greg Pliska. Steven Spielberg has adapted War Horse into a feature length film, which is set to be released in movie theatres on December 25.

Adapted as well as Directed by Daniel Buckroyd, Farm Boy opened December 13, and runs for limited time. A sequel to Morpurgo's acclaimed novel War Horse, Farm Boy accounts the changing face of the English countryside as technology clashes with rural heritage.

Beginning Thursday, January 12, 2012, Harlan Bengel, Toby Billowitz, Lute Breuer, Hunter Canning, Anthony Cochrane, Andrew Durand, Ben Horner, Leah Hofmann, Tessa Klein, David Lansbury, David Manis, Nat McIntyre, Geoffrey Murphy, Andy Murray, Tommy Schrider, and Jack Spann will join the 37 member acting company of the Tony Award winning production of WAR HORSE. The National Theatre of Great Britain's production, presented by Lincoln Center Theater and the National Theatre of Great Britain in association with Bob Boyett, continues its open ended run at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

According to reports from The Age, Britain's National Theatre production of WAR HORSE is set to play at the Art Centre's State Theatre in Melbourne, Australia sometime in late 2012.

From 16 November 2011 a new cast of actors and puppeteers will join the National Theatre's internationally award-winning production of War Horse at the New London Theatre. Now in its fourth year, Michael Morpurgo's War Horse has been seen by over 1.5 million people world-wide.

The critically acclaimed Brits Off Broadway festival, host to the UK's most innovative and provocative theater in New York City, returns this year with a line up of nine New York premieres.

According to Deadline.com, Tony winner Nick Stafford, who wrote Broadway's WAR HORSE, has officially signed with CAA- Creative Artists Agency.
