Producers Bob Boyett and The National Theatre of Great Britain have announced full casting for the upcoming Denver engagement of the 2011 Tony Award-winning Best Play, War Horse. The company, comprised of more than 30 performers, includes Andrew Veenstra as Albert Narracott, Brian Keane as Arthur Narracott, Michael Wyatt Cox as Billy Narracott, Todd Cerveris as Ted Narracott, Colorado native Angela Reed as Rose Narracott, Jason Loughlin as Lieutenant James Nicholls, Jason Alan Carvell as Private Schnabel and Colorado native Mat Hostetler as Veterinary Officer Martin.

The eve of the New Year 2013 in Melbourne saw the Australian Premiere of the much-acclaimed drama War Horse. It's no wonder that this play has received such high accolades. This production of War Horse is as unique a drama as Les Misérables is a musical.

Arts Centre Melbourne is offering audiences the chance to ring in the New Year with Joey, everyone's favourite War Horse. A strictly limited number of tickets to War Horse and the Official War Horse Opening Night Party on New Year's Eve are now on sale, offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the Australian premiere of the production. The Wicked Young Writers' Award announced its winners for 2012 at a prestigious ceremony on 6th December at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, home of the award-winning musical Wicked. The ceremony was hosted by Louise Dearman, who stars as Elphaba, and prizes were presented by Michael Morpurgo, best-selling author of War Horse and Chair Judge of the Award.

The Academy of Music is set to present the national tour of War Horse to Philadelphia audiences from tonight, November 20th through December 2nd of this year. Based on a novel by Michael Morpurgo, adapted by Nick Stafford in association with Handspring Puppet Company, War Horse is currently running on Broadway, The West End, and in Canada.
