The UK's premier improv comedy troupe The Noise Next Door bring their live show to Storyhouse for the very first time this spring.

Dan Looney, Adam Paulden and Jason Haigh-Ellery for DLAP Entertainment present a brand-new UK tour of the Tony Award winning musical "CURTAINS" starring comedian Jason Manford. The production will open at Churchill Theatre, Bromley on the 4 October 2019 and will tour the UK and Ireland until 4 April 2020 where the production will complete its run at the Wolverhampton, Grand Theatre. Deadpan comic Stewart Francis has announced he will be bringing his trademark one-liners to Warrington this autumn.

Internationally acclaimed and award-winning Scottish comedian, Daniel Sloss, will run his critically acclaimed new show, Daniel Sloss: X, in a month-long off-Broadway run February 6 24, 2019 at SoHo Playhouse. Following extraordinary public demand, Russell Kane has added a further run of dates to his brand new tour The Fast And The Curious, extending it through to autumn 2019. Stand-up veteran Simon Evans, known for his thought-provoking, riveting and ever-so-clever performances, is bringing his wit and wisdom to Swindon Arts Centre today, 3rd November, as part of his Genius 2.0 tour.

But live comedy is where she's in her element, and now she sets out on tour to 38 more welcoming destinations around the UK this spring with her newest show Skittish Warrior…Confessions of a Club Comic. This brand new hour brings sharp-tongued gags, cultural observation and whatever else is in her easily distracted mind at the time.

Charlie Stemp will return to the London Palladium to play The Prince in this year's Pantomime, Snow White at the London Palladium along with Danielle Hope who will play the title role of Snow White. They join the previously announced Dawn French as The Wicked Queen, Julian Clary as The Man in The Mirror, Paul Zerdin as Muddles, Nigel Havers as The Understudy, Gary Wilmot as Mrs Crumble with Vincent and Flavia as The King and The Queen for this strictly limited 5 week run.

Comedy gold is returning to Parr Hall this winter with stellar stand-up Tom Stade.

Director of Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST), Samuel Hodges, today announces full casting for the world premiere of Women in Power. NST Associate Director Blanche McIntyre directs Lydia Bewley, best known for The Inbetweeners, Plebs and E4's comedy Drifters, Elizabeth Boag, Anna Fordham, Lisa Kerr, Anne Odeke and Alicia Mckenzie. The production, in association with Oxford Playhouse, sees some of the UK's most influential female voices, Wendy Cope, Jenny Eclair, Suhayla El-Bushra, Natalie Haynes, Shappi Khorsandi, Jess Phillips MP and Brona C Titley, come together to write this musical comedy based on the Greek classic, The Assemblywomen. The production opens on 13 September at NST City, with previews from 6 September and runs until 29 September. It will then run at Oxford Playhouse from 3 - 6 October.
