THE BELLS OF DUBLIN Opens 12/12 at Ivoryton Playhouse
by Tyler Peterson
- Dec 9, 2013
Ivoryton: It's Christmas Eve in Dublin - the shops are closing, the night is drawing in and the wind would skin you alive. But at The Bells Pub and Guest House, a few stragglers remain by the fire, sharing a glass of holiday cheer and stories from both sides of the Atlantic. Will the Americans catch their flight home in this terrible weather? Will Paddy ever catch that pesky mouse? And are those boys really who they say they are? The Bells of Dublin, a new holiday show conceived and directed by Playhouse Executive/Artistic Director, Jacqueline Hubbard, will premiere at the Ivoryton Playhouse on December 12, 2013. "For 345 days a year, we work around the clock here - maintaining this beautiful building and producing 7 amazing professional shows. The holiday show is our chance to have some fun! I wanted to put together a show with some great music - traditional Irish and American - a little bit of magic and a lot of laughs. So - here 'tis!"
