WICKED, the spellbinding musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, has added three extra Christmas matinees: on Thursday 22 December, Monday 26 December 2016 and Thursday 29 December 2016. All extra shows start at 2.30pm at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre.

THE WICKED YOUNG WRITER AWARDS, created and sponsored by the award-winning musical Wicked in association with the National Literacy Trust (www.literacytrust.org.uk), is pleased to announce that the acclaimed author and illustrator of the How to Train Your Dragon books, Cressida Cowell, will return as Head Judge for the awards for the third consecutive year. Jonathan Douglas, Director of the National Literacy Trust, will also be returning as part of the judging panel.

Rachel Tucker returns to the West End production at the Apollo Victoria Theatre following an acclaimed engagement on Broadway. Full casting is announced for Christopher Wheeldon's stunning reinvention of the Oscar winning film (that starred Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron). An American in Paris features the sublime music and lyrics of George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a new book by Craig Lucas. Directly following celebrated engagements in Paris and New York, this critically acclaimed and multi award-winning new musical bursts into life in the West End from Saturday 4 March 2017 with the official opening night on Tuesday 21 March 2017 at the Dominion Theatre.

Actor and presenter Curry took over the role on March 25, alongside Emma Hatton (Elphaba), Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Oliver Savile (Fiyero), Liza Sadovy (Madame Morrible), Sean Kearns (Doctor Dillamond), Daniel Hope (Boq) and Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose).
