Budding theatre wannabes take note, Orange has teamed up with the cast and crew of the hit West End musical Wicked to launch a nationwide search to find 'Britain's most wicked'. The competition, which celebrates Orange becoming official communications partner of the show, will see one lucky winner offered a once-in-a-lifetime, walk-on appearance in the spellbinding and spectacular show at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre

From Monday 16 July 2007 the record-breaking musical Wicked at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre will star: Kerry Ellis (Elphaba), Dianne Pilkington (Glinda), Oliver Tompsett (Fiyero), Susie Blake (Madame Morrible), Nigel Planer (The Wizard), James Gillan (Boq), Andy Mace (Doctor Dillamond) and Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose).

The hit musical WICKED, at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre, has set a new all-time record for a single week's gross in the West End. For the week 26-30 December 2006, WICKED grossed a record-breaking £873,020. WICKED was the West End's top-selling show during Christmas week and also set a new Box Office record at the Apollo Victoria for the third time:

Idina Menzel gave her final performance as the unusually green witch, Elphaba, in the London production of the hit musical Wicked on the 30th December at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. Her three-month contract, which paid a record-breaking $30,000 per week, is now over and Kerry Ellis takes over the role from 1st January 2007.

On Sunday, December 3rd, 2006, tickets for London's record-breaking musical Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre will go on sale for all performances until Saturday, June 30th, 2007

WICKED will take part in this year's prestigious Royal Variety Performance on Monday 4th December at the London Coliseum in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

Complete casting has been announced for the West End production of Wicked.

WICKED, the untold story of the Witches of Oz, went on sale to the general public yesterday (Sunday 5 March) at 9am and sold a record-breaking £100,000 of tickets in the first hour alone. Ticket buyers braved freezing temperatures and started queuing at the Box Office from 6.30am. The total advance now stands at over £1,700,000.
