Bob Marley's Three Little Birds will be presented by Bay Area Children's Theatre as part of Marin Theatre Company's Theater Series for Young Audiences. Adapted by Michael J. Bobbitt; based on the story by Cedella Marley, with music by Bob Marley; additional music and lyrics by John L. Cornelius, II, the show will be directed by Michael Mohammed and runs tonight, March 7 - March 15, 2015.

Little Red Riding Hood's adventure to grandma's house has taken a toe-tappin' twist down south just in time for Mardi Gras. At Adventure Theatre MTC, the whole family can enjoy a festive celebration with Petite Rouge: A Cajun Red Riding Hood. Based on Charles Perrault's classic fairy tale and adapted from the book by Mike Artell and Jim Harris, Petite Rouge takes audience's on a musical journey into the swamps of Louisiana. Directed and choreographed by Adventure's own Michael J. Bobbitt, this show is a delight for all ages.

Adventure Theatre MTC brings the sights and sounds of Louisiana to Glen Echo Park with its upcoming production Petite Rouge, A Cajun Red Riding Hood from January 30 through March 8. This family-friendly, Zydeco-driven musical was adapted from the book by Mike Artell and Jim Harris by D.C. native Joan Cushing. Petite Rouge is directed and choreographed by ATMTC Producing Artistic Director Michael J. Bobbitt with musical direction by Darius Smith.

The sun is shining in Cattawood Springs, a small village on the Island of Jamaica, but timid, 11-year-old Ziggy prefers to stay indoors, watching TV, "just making sure that there are no hurricanes coming." When his tricky friend Nansi lures him out of the house, the two children are in for an unexpected test of their courage and ingenuity.

Adventure Theatre MTC commences its 2014-2015 63rd Season with Stuart Little, Sept. 19 - Oct. 26, 2014. The play is based on the award-winning book by E.B. White, published in 1945. For more than a half-century, the shy and thoughtful mouse has been a beloved literary figure for generations of young readers.

Studio 2ndStage's final production of the 2013-2014 season is the edgy and strangely charming Carrie: The Musical, co-directed by Studio 2ndStage Artistic Director Keith Alan Baker and Jacob Janssen. Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC), the two-time recipient of the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Production, Theatre for Young Audiences, has announced its 63rd Season. This year, ATMTC brings to life five main stage productions featuring two world premieres. The 63rd Season represents an exciting line-up of classic stories and familiar faces on the ATMTC Professional Stage.

PINKALICIOUS, at the Adventure Theatre - Musical Theater Center, in Glen Echo Park, directed by Carl Menninger, based on Victoria and Elizabeth Kann's children's novel, and adapted by the authors, with music and lyrics by John Gregor, is a winner. Although it is aimed at young children, it has plenty to delight parents and older kids as well.

Building on the success of its inaugural Theater Series for Young Audiences, of which every performance was sold out, Marin Theatre Company will again partner with Bay Area Children's Theatre to present five productions in MTC's 99-seat Lieberman Theatre and 231-seat Boyer Theatre. Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) Academy announces the launch of a Pre-Professional Program to prepare exemplary young musical theater artists in grades 4-12 for college and/or a professional career, starting in September 2014. Led by a highly qualified faculty, and with a curriculum that incorporates the National & State Fine Arts Standards of Learning, the Pre-Professional Program will provide students with comprehensive training in singing, dancing, acting, and performance from September through May each year.
