La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment in association with the Laguna Playhouse are proud to present the second production of La Mirada Theatre's 2009-2010 season of shows, the critically-acclaimed co-production with The Laguna Playhouse of MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS, written by Ron Hutchinson and directed by Andrew Barnicle.

The Seattle Rep is presenting Michael Hollinger's wonderful new play "Opus" about the behind the scenes drama of a string quartet, and while the ensemble never actually plays a note, they make beautiful music together.

On November 9, Primary Stages will host 'Leading Ladies,' the organization's 25th Anniversary Benefit Gala, honoring influential women who have contributed to the theater's work over the past 25 years. The event will take place at the Grand Hyatt New York and begins at 6:30pm.

Sex. Lies. Violins. A cast of all-Seattle actors dives into the passionate behind-the-scenes life of a fictional string quartet in Opus at Seattle Repertory Theatre. The play is inspired by violist-turned-playwright Michael Hollinger's own quartet experiences. Opus opens in previews Oct. 30 and plays through Dec. 6 in the intimate Leo K. Theatre. People's Light & Theatre Company presents SNOW WHITE, by Kathryn Petersen, with music and lyrics written by Michael Ogborn, from November 18, 2009 to January 3, 2010 on the Main Stage. Pete Pryor directs. SNOW WHITE is one of three shows in the Target Family Discovery Series and is sponsored by ING.
