The phrase “No one is irreplaceable” was shattered this past week when composer/lyricist/GOD of American musical theatre Stephen Sondheim passed away at age 91. Simply put, Sondheim was unique, groundbreaking and a true original that many tried to copy and never could.

Dick Science Fiction Film Festival started a tradition of honoring films inspired by authors who have explored the metaphysical and eerie in all its manifestations.

The Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival is the city's first event of its kind celebrating the genre. The organizers behind the event which takes place in Brooklyn from from December 7-9, 2012 are excited to preview the award-winning films before their anticipated screenings.
