Dialogue Joe Orton wrote 50 years ago for his darkly comic masterpiece Loot is to be heard for the very first time on stage in the UK.

Final casting is announced today for the 50th anniversary production of Joe Orton's darkly comic masterpiece, LOOT.

Rising British stars Calvin Demba (Evening Standard Emerging Talent Award nominee, The Red Lion,  National Theatre), Sam Frenchum (Private Peaceful, Grantchester) and award-winning Sinead Matthews (Mrs Elvsted in Ivo van Hove's Hedda Gabler, National Theatre), are to star in the 50th anniversary production of Joe Orton's darkly comic masterpiece, LOOT.

The Watermill Theatre announces the second part of its 50th anniversary season which goes on sale on 22 May with priority booking for Friends of The Watermill opening on 15 May.

Meet the little pig with big dreams in Polka's new stage adaptation of Dick King-Smith's much loved novel Babe, The Sheep-Pig. RSC will tour FIRST ENCOUNTER: THE TAMING OF THE SHREW in Spring 2014 with Michael Fentiman directing associate artists Katy Stephens (as Petruchio) and Forbes Masson (as Katherine.) The tour begins 6 February 2014. Performances in Stratford, followed by UK tour playing in schools and theatres in Canterbury, Bradford, Blackpool, Leicester, London and Newcastle-under-Lyme, and a visit to Ohio State University.
