Robert Fairchild, Michael Arden and Andrea McArdle will join Annaleigh Ashford, Bill Berloni, Sutton Foster, Joanna Gleason, Orfeh and Hugh Panaro in Best in Shows, a star-studded cabaret evening to benefit the Humane Society of New York, on Sunday, November 1 at Feinstein's/ 54 Below.  Oscar and Tony Award-winner Joel Grey will be awarded the first annual Humane Society of New York's Sandy Award, presented to an artist who has shown a fierce commitment, through action and advocacy, to the cause of animal rights.

Ken Davenport, Cody Lassen, Hunter Arnold, and David J. Kurs, producers of Deaf West Theatre's acclaimed production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's Spring Awakening, were honored this morning by The Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities and Commissioner Victor Calise at the NDEAM (National Disability Employment Awareness Month) Awards, where they received the Champion of Change Award.

Performers from the beloved Off-Broadway musical BARE came together just last night to honor the show's late creator, Damon Intrabartolo, at Feinstein's/ 54 Below. Cast members from the original Los Angeles and Off-Broadway companies, as well as those from the recent revival at New World Stages, reunited to celebrate Intrabartolo, who passed away in 2013. Led by Kristin Hanggi, performers included Michael Arden, Jenna Leigh Green, John HIll, Natalie Joy Johnson, Taylor Trensch, Jonah Platt, and many more!

Additional Broadway credits include the Roundabout Theatre Company's presentation of the Deaf West Theatre sign-language production of Big River. Other credits include Ace, Swimming in the Shallows, Bare, Harold & Maude and It's Only Life Off-Broadway. Arden also joined Barbra Streisand during her world concert tour and appeared in the City Center Encores! staging of Juno.
