Now, word is out in the New York Times that a starry reading of PICNIC took place on Monday featuring 'Among those reading were the Academy Award-winning actress Melissa Leo ('The Fighter') as the widow Flo; Hayden Panettiere (TV's 'Heroes') as her well-behaved daughter Madge; Laura Innes ('ER') as her neighbor Rosemary; and Seth Numrich ('War Horse') as the college student Alan, the role that was Paul Newman's Broadway debut in 1953.'

VH1 announced today that it will air the 17th annual 'Critics' Choice Movie Awards' on Thursday, January 12 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. This year marks the first year that the show will be held on a Thursday and the fifth straight year the network will televise the event. According to EW.com, Simon & Schuster will publish a memoir by Oscar-winning actress Melissa Leo. Chronicling her life from childhood to her career, the book is scheduled for a 2013 release.
