Bravo announces March 2013 programming highlights!

Ratings from last night's episode of SMASH titled 'The Fringe' are currently up (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) 0.1 of a point or 13 percent versus last week's official-national 0.8 rating in 18-49.

On the next episode of NBC's SMASH titled 'Musical Chairs,' new circumstances give rise to conflicts as Karen (Katharine McPhee), Tom (Christian Borle), Julia (Debra Messing) and Derek (Jack Davenport) adjust to their new surroundings. Get a sneak peek below!

Renowned musical theatre composer/lyricist, Scott Alan and Broadway star, Caissie Levy, perform music from Scott's extensive original songbook and share the inspiration and stories behind them. Scott's thoughtful and moving original compositions have made him a favorite among many well-known artists including Sutton Foster, Jonathan Groff, Stephanie J. Block and Liz Callaway. The evening features songs from his four original albums.

This week on Smash, the drama continues as each character is faced with new challenges and Broadway vets Sean Hayes, Jesse L. Martin, Daniel Sunjata, and Nikki Blonsky guest star.

A new song from a musical-within-the-show on NBC's musical drama series SMASH has just been released, featuring show star Megan Hilty.

Thirty schools from across the country have been selected as finalists in NBC's "Smash" Make a Musical Constructed by Lowe's initiative to improve school theater facilities. The schools will compete to receive the most online votes at makeamusical.org by Wednesday, April 10 in order to receive one of five grand prize gift certificates to Lowe's for their renovations.

Wicked and Hairspray alum Shoshana Bean recently released her sophomore record O' Farrel Street. Bean produced the album with the help of Kickstarter, a website that funds independent projects. After an album release concert and party at the Sayers Club in LA, O' Farrel Street was made available February 12.

On March 8, 2013, The New York Pops continued its 30th season with an evening of swinging favorites in Luck Be a Lady: Megan Hilty Sings Sinatra and More. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke led the orchestra as it tipped its hat to the Rat Pack, Ella Fitzgerald, Marilyn Monroe, and other stars from the golden age of entertainment. The performance featured Megan Hilty, Broadway singer and star of the television show Smash, and Ryan Silverman, one of Broadway's favorite leading men. Tonight, March 8, 2013, one of Broadway's favorite leading men, Ryan Silverman, will appear with The New York Pops for Come Fly With Me: The Songs of Sammy Cahn. Mr. Silverman has previously appeared in The Phantom of the Opera (Raoul), Cry-Baby (Cry-Baby u/s), Music in the Air (Karl) at New York City Center's Encores!, and The Most Happy Fella (Al) at New York City Opera. NBC's SMASH fell in ratings again last night, dropping 22 percent- a new series low for the show. The musical drama, which aired 10-11pm, brought in 2.6 million viewers overall and a 0.7/2 rating in 18-49.

NBC's SMASH remains the most upscale drama on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox so far this season in its concentration of adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.
