WAR HORSE to Embark on UK Tour in Fall 2013; Productions Planned for Japan, South Africa, and More!

The National Theatre's award-winning production of War Horse is currently playing the New London Theatre, and will egin a full UK tour in Fall 2013, according to The Stage. While official tour dates and venues have not yet been confirmed, executive director Nick Starr revealed that in addition to the West End, Broaway, and upcoming Toronto production, there are also plans to open in Australia, Japan, and South Africa.

From Wednesday 9 March 2011 Nicola Stephenson and Patrick Robinson will join the West End cast of the National Theatre's hit production of War Horse which is currently taking bookings at the New London Theatre to 18 February 2012. Nicola Stephenson will play Albert's mother, Rose Narracott, and Patrick Robinson will play German soldier Friedrich Muller.

Keith Allen to Star in West End's 'Long John Silver'; Full Casting Announced

Keith Allen will make his West End stage debut starring as 'Long John Silver' in Ken Ludwig's new stage adaptation of 'TREASURE ISLAND' by Robert Louis Stevenson at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. The play will open on Monday 17 November, following previews from 7 November. Also in the cast are Michael Legge as 'Jim Hawkins', Tony Bell as 'Bones/Captain Smollett', Paul Brennen as 'Ben Gunn/Black Dog', John Lightbody as 'Blind Pew/Trelawney', Dermot Kerrigan as 'Flint/Dr Livesy', James Atherton, Mark Bagnall, Matt Costain, Estella Daniels, Branwell Donaghey, Howard Gossington, James Lailey, Mark Theodore and Sharlene Whyte.
