In its ninth year, Modfest is Vassar College's exploration of the arts of the 20th and 21st centuries. This year's program will celebrate the visual arts, dance, drama, film, literature, poetry, and music in a series of events that will take place across the Vassar campus from January 20 through February 5, 2011.

An international conference, seminars, a fully-staged opera, world premiere dramatic and dance performances, and innovative exhibitions are just a few of the many events that will be highlighted during Vassar College's sesquicentennial celebrations in 2011.

Grosse Pointe Theatre opens its 63rd Season with the 1971 rock musical, Godspell on Sunday, September 19 with a 2:00 p.m. matinee at the Fries Auditorium of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, 32 Lake Shore Road, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236.
