Continuing Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season of professional theatre is THIRTY DAY MOURNING PERIOD. Directed by Mark Shanahan, THIRTY DAY MOURNING PERIOD will be performed as a staged reading and feature a post-show discussion with the playwright, Hank Greene. The event will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls), in the recently renovated Cabaret space on July 6th & 7th at 7:30pm. BWW Review: AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS Charms the Crowd at The Alley

The feel-good family friendly show is fast paced, well-performed, and will have you laughing out loud. The show is full of wit, quips, and charm. The show will close in less than a week, and it's one that you do not want to miss this season. Don't forget to bring the kiddos. The comedy was adapted by Playwright Mark Brown, based on the 1873 novel by Jules Verne, and the production is directed by Mark Shanahan. The story is about Phileas Fogg's attempt to circumnavigate the globe within eighty days as a result of a wager with members of the London-based aristocratic group, the Reform Club.

The Pearl Theatre Company is pleased to present the world premiere of The Dingdong, Mark Shanahan's adaptation of French farceur Georges Feydeau's Le Dindon. Directed by The Pearl Theatre's Artistic Director Hal Brooks, The Dindong follows the misadventures of one madcap night in a Paris Hotel, dancing us into a world where opening the wrong door in the dark of night leads to mayhem, laughter and, maybe, a few home truths about the secrets to a happy marriage. The production runs April 5-May 15 and features five actors taking on multiple roles in this breezy comedy full of romance, lust and theatricality.

Original Broadway and off-Broadway cast member Arnie Burton just departed the two-time Tony Award winning hilarious hit comedy 39 STEPS following his 1,000th performance as Man #2/Clown #2 last night, September 28th. Having originated the role in the original Broadway production, Burton returned for the current engagement at the Union Square Theatre. Cameron Pow (The Lion King) will join the cast on Wednesday, September 30th, taking over for Burton.
