One Year Lease Theater Company brings their sold-out critically-acclaimed 2012 production of pool (no water) back to NYC for a limited Off-Broadway run from October 21-November 24 at Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street at 7th Avenue South). Known for their international vision of new plays, The Play Company (PlayCo) is pleased to announce that Working on a Special Day, their 2013 co-production with Mexico City's Por Piedad Teatro, has gone on to a series of international engagements, including the Edinburgh Fringe (August 2013), Singapore's M1 Festival (January 2014) and the Adelaide Fringe Festival (February 2014 - Winner, Peace Foundation Award). After an award-winning engagement at the Prague Fringe Festival (May 2014 winner the Performance Award and the Creative Award) the play returns to the U.S. for a run at the Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; June 18-July 6. The touring life of this play marks a new level of international exchange in PlayCo's pioneering mission to support a global approach to contemporary theatre.
