Charlotte Parry Joins Cast of Roundabout's LOOK BACK IN ANGER

Rehearsals begin today, Monday, December 12 for Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) new off-Broadway production of John Osborne's play Look Back in Anger, directed by Roundabout Associate Artist Sam Gold.

Scott Shepherd to Lead GATZ at Public Theater; John Collins to Direct

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) announced today that GATZ, the critically lauded theatrical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, will return to The Public Theater this spring for a limited seven-week engagement. Created by Elevator Repair Service, this award-winning theatrical event, directed by John Collins and featuring Scott Shepherd as Nick, will begin previews on Wednesday, March 14 and run through Sunday, May 6 for 28 performances only in the Newman Theater. Member tickets go on sale on Monday, November 21 with single tickets on sale in early January.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) announced complete casting today for William Shakespeare's TITUS ANDRONICUS, the third Public Lab production of the fall season. Directed by Michael Sexton, TITUS ANDRONICUS runs Tuesday, November 29 through Sunday, December 18 at The Public Theater, with an official press opening on Tuesday, December 13. Tickets for TITUS ANDRONICUS are on sale now; all tickets for Public Lab productions are $15.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced the full cast of a new production of John Osborne's play Look Back in Anger, directed by Roundabout Associate Artist Sam Gold. Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company has announced that The Patsy, written by Barry Conners, performed by five-time OBIE Award winner David Greenspan, and directed by four-time Drama Desk Award nominee Jack Cummings III, will begin performances Friday, July 15, at 7:30pm at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, 229 West 42 Street. Obie Award-winning actress and solo performer Nilaja Sun will return to New York City this summer in her Off Broadway smash No Child..., it was announced today by Producers Scott Morfee and Tom Wirtshafter. No Child..., directed by Hal Brooks, began performances at the Barrow Street Theatre in 2006 where it ran for an astonishing 311 performances and played to sold-out audiences for over a year. Following the New York run of the show, Sun embarked on a national and international tour of the show, earning unanimous rave reviews and 17 awards along the way, including an Obie Award, a Lucille Lortel Award, two Outer Critics Circle Awards including the John Gassner playwriting award for Outstanding New American Play, a Theatre World Award, the Helen Hayes Award, a Los Angeles Ovation Award, and was named the Best One-Person Show at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Sun comes back, where it all began, to the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street at 7th Avenue) for 40 performances only starting June 5. An official opening night is set for Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
