Audiences will be on the edge of their seats when Geva Theatre Center presents Wait Until Dark by Frederick Knott, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by David Ira Goldstein. Wait Until Dark begins performances on September 9 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Mainstage through October 5.

The work of playwright Will Eno is one of the most discussed and debated subjects in the theatre world today. Eno, a Brooklyn-based artist whose work is more often produced in Europe than it is in the U.S., is the creator of such controversial plays as Thom Pain (based on nothing), Middletown and, most recently The Realistic Joneses starring Toni Collette, Michael C. Hall, Tracy Letts and Marisa Tomei.

It's 1967. Lyndon B. Johnson is in office, Jackie Kennedy and Aristotle Onassis have just become an "item," protests against the Vietnam war are going strong - and Judge Francis Biddle, former Attorney General under FDR and Chief Judge at the Nuremburg Trials, is 81 years old. Trying, the award-winning play inspired by the real-life experiences of playwright Joanna McClelland Glass as personal secretary to Biddle during the last year of his life, opens at International City Theatre on Aug. 22, directed by John Henry Davis and starring Tony Abatemarco and Paige Lindsey White.

Will Eno's new play The Realistic Joneses played its final performance of the limited run on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at 3:00 pm, having played 27 previews and 105 performances for a total of 132 performances. It began performances Thursday, March 13, 2014, with an official opening night on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Lyceum Theatre (149 W 45th Street).

The National YoungArts Foundation, with the generous support of The Related Group, announces the inauguration of the YoungArts Residency in Visual Arts, the first of several residency programs in the visual, literary, design and performing arts the organization is developing as it expands its support of the next generation of artists in the United States and strengthens its place as a creative-catalyst for Miami's growing cultural landscape. The YoungArts Residency in Visual Arts will be extended to at least three outstanding visual artists a year, offering them the opportunity to become immersed in the Miami community while developing their work. The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today its 2014 National Board and officer election results, which were shared during the Guild's annual General Membership Meeting tonight on the Warner Bros. Studios lot. The Producers Guild elected Gary Lucchesi and Lori McCreary as Presidents. Other newly PGA national officers include: Vice Presidents of Motion PicturesDavid Friendly and Lydia Dean Pilcher; Vice Presidents of Television Tim Gibbons and Jason Katims; Treasurer Christina Lee Storm,and Vice President PGA East Region Peter Saraf. Outgoing PGA Presidents Mark Gordon and Hawk Koch, who served since 2010, received special recognition at the meeting for their unwavering service to the Producers Guild over the years, including their seminal advocacy on behalf of the Guild's credit certification, the Producers Mark.
