On Monday, February 22, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present an evening of songs by songwriter/singer Katie Thompson. The cast included Dee Roscioli (Wicked), Matt Doyle (Spring Awakening), Tom Lenk (Rock of Ages), Mariand Torres (Giant), Anne Fraser Thomas (The Grinch) and Erik Sisco (Sing What I Wanna Sing).

I'M JUST GLAD YOU'RE HERE, a collection of songs with lyrics by Charlie Sohne, will be performed at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Monday, October 5 at 9:30 p.m. The show features performances by Celina Carvajal (Toxic Avenger, MTV's 'Legally Blonde: The Search for the Next Elle Woods'), Sevan Greene (Betrayed), Amy Justman (White Christmas, Company), Jed Resnick (Rent national tour, Avenue Q), Jodi Stevens (Urban Cowboy, Jekyll & Hyde) and Mariand Torres (Giant). The show includes music by David Gaines, Tim Rosser, Matt Van Brink, and Chris Wade.

A sensational story of power, love, lust, and bigotry among the wealthy Anglo cattle barons and oil tycoons, and the downtrodden Mexican-Americans who work for them, Giant is based on the classic novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edna Ferber, which also inspired the film starring James Dean, ElizaBeth Taylor, and Rock Hudson. Written by Michael John LaChiusa, considered one of today's most intelligent and innovative musical theater composers, Giant is the first work produced through Signature's multi-year American Musical Voices Project.

The Bubble comes at a time when history is repeating itself. We're seeing things happening now to the housing bubble that happened to the dotcom bubble. Conceiver Karen Paull said today. The Bubble is inspired by Paull's own experiences in Silicon Valley. Karen Paull is available for interviews and is an expert on surviving a market bubble.
