Bartolomeo della Gatta's 15th-century panel painting of Saint Roch has been returned to the Museo Horne in Florence following a multifaceted restoration process. The restoration by Valeria Cocchetti and Daniele Ciappi, under the supervision of the Soprintendenza di Firenze, was made possible thanks to donations by Donna Curry, Mary Mochary, and Donato Massaro through the Friends of Florence Foundation.

Award-winning multidisciplinary designer and filmmaker Francesca Molteni is the link between two events taking place on January 21 and 22, 2019 presented by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Toronto (IIC). One of Wallpaper Magazine's "favourite enterprising design women in Milan," Francesca Molteni is the scion of the Molteni furniture empire and founder of the creative lab Muse Factory of Projects. Her film Volevo essere Walt Disney (I wanted to be Walt Disney), an homage to design and architecture giant Alessandro Mendini, will screened at the Design Exchange on January 21 at 6:30 PM. Molteni's curatorial eye, together with that of regular collaborator Maria Cristina Didero, is also behind From A to Zaven, an exhibition by Venice-based design studio Zaven that opens January 22 at 6:30 PM at the IIC. Independent design curator Maria Cristina Didero is known for her expertise in Italian Radical design and has been dubbed "Milan's coolest curator" by Architectural Digest USA.

The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) has announced the winners of the 2018 Princess Grace Awards. The Awards will be presented at the annual Princess Grace Awards Gala and continue the legacy of Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, who helped emerging artists pursue their artistic goals during Her lifetime. In total, the Foundation is awarding over $1 million to artists in theater, dance, and film. Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of West Side Story on Friday June 22, 2018 at the November Theatre/Arenstein Stage, 114 West Broad Street. The show will run through July 29, 2018.  Previews will be on Wednesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 21, 2018. With a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by legendary Broadway composer Stephen Sondheim, this classic musical retelling of Romeo and Juliet is set against the backdrop of New York's Hell's Kitchen in the 1950's.
