13th Annual Tom Howard/Margaret Reid Poetry Contest is Launched

Now in its 13th year, the international Tom Howard/Margaret Reid Poetry Contest will award $1,500 for a poem in any style and $1,500 for a poem that rhymes or has a traditional style. 10 Honorable Mentions will receive $100 each. The top twelve entries will be published on WinningWriters.com and announced in the Winning Writers newsletter, which has over 50,000 subscribers.

Runners-up in each category will receive $500, and five High Distinction Awards of $100 each will also be made. The Peccadillo Theater Company is currently presenting the first major NYC revival of Sidney Howard's THE SILVER CORD, directed by OBIE Award winner Dan Wackerman. The production opened last night, June 11th at Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th Street (between Ninth & Tenth Ave.) Check out the cast's celebration at Sardi's below!
