Grease: Live has made musical theatre history in tonight's Emmy's. Not only did it the production receive the highest number of Emmy nominations for any live musical - ten categories in total - but it has won four of those!

FOX's live production of GREASE LIVE made TV history by earning a total of ten EMMY AWARD nominations this year, the most nominations ever received for a live musical. At tonight's Creative Emmy Awards presentation, the broadcast picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Variety Special.

Currently the 10(th) longest- running show in Broadway history, the blockbuster musical WICKED will celebrate its 13(th) Anniversary this October 30(th). Today, September 9, in conjunction with this milestone, the GRAMMY award-winning, multi-platinum Original Cast Recording has received its first-ever wide release on vinyl as a double LP via Verve/UMe.

The Leone Film Group S.P.A. (LFG) is coming on board as a production partner on Amblin Entertainment's THE KIDNAPPING OF EDGARDO MORTARA.

WICKED, the award-winning West End musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, has announced the opening of its 22nd new booking period, on Monday 5 September 2016 at 10am, with over 500,000 new tickets going on sale for performances until Saturday 4 November 2017.

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which comes to South Bend at The Morris Performing Arts Center with performances from September 7-18, 2016. Broadway Theatre League is proud to present WICKED as part of the 2016-17 Broadway in South Bend Series.  Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at The Morris Center box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only.  This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person.  Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets. 

Hosted by current WICKED on Broadway cast members Dawn E. Cantwell, who plays Nessarose, and Zachary Noah Piser, who plays Boq, the six-part podcast series, "Inside WICKED: Origin Stories" puts a spotlight on members of the WICKED family to find out how they got to where they are.

According to Entertainment Weekly, when Rob Marshall, the director of the upcoming film, first told Julie Andrews the top-secret news that Emily Blunt would be playing the titular character in the highly-anticipated sequel, her reaction was, 'Oh, wonderful!'
