Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre presents a special engagement of Disney's 'Into The Woods,' from Dec. 25, 2014 - Jan. 11, 2015. In addition, El Capitan guests have the opportunity to be among the first to see the film at a special advance screening on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m., complete with prizes and giveaways. ?A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to The San Diego Civic Theatre with performances from tonight, November 12-December 7, 2014.

RLS Productions will present the West Coast premiere of DIRTY, written by Kennedy Center Playwright Award-winner Andrew Hinderaker and directed by Obie Award-winner Shannon Cochran (August: Osage County, Bug). DIRTY will preview tonight, November 12; Thursday, November 13 & Friday, November 14 at 8pm and will open on Saturday, November 15 at 8pm and will run through Sunday, December 21 at the Zephyr Theatre, 7456 Melrose Ave., in West Hollywood.

The show will tour the UK from Monday 10 November 2014 - Saturday 24 March 2015 with a six week season at Sadler's Well's this Christmas from Tuesday 2 December 2014 - Sunday 11 January 2015.

WICKED Australia Co-Producer John Frost today announced that the award-winning musical theatre blockbuster will fly to Perth in May 2015 as part of its 10th Anniversary tour. The Perth season at the Crown Theatre, Burswood will follow the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane legs of the tour.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2012, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre April 1-26, 2015. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale Monday, December 8 at 10:00 am.

X-Factor finalists Lauren Platt and Lola Saunders attended classic musical WICKED at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre to celebrate Halloween on Thursday night.

Today in 2003, Wicked opened at the Gershwin Theatre, where it is still running. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento. Wicked is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone. The show celebrated its tenth anniversary on Broadway last year, and a slew of Wicked alumni attended the special event. To celebrate this day, BroadwayWorld is flashing back to WICKED's epic 10th birthday!
