Syfy is going into production on the Saturday Original Movie The Philadelphia Experiment, featuring a star-studded cast of Nicholas Lea (V, Kyle X-Y), Michael Pare (The Virgin Suicides, Hope Floats), Ryan Robbins (Sanctuary, Riese), Gina Holden (Saw 3D, Final Destination 3), Emilie Ullerup (Sanctuary) and Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Entourage).

USA Network dominated the television landscape all summer, and this fall, the network will continue to deliver high-quality programming. In September, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11, USA will present two world television premieres, the USA original movie THE SPACE BETWEEN followed by the Academy Award(R)-winning short subject documentary TWIN TOWERS. October will feature the USA launch of season six of the hit original series PSYCH, and in November, two of summer's biggest hits, BURN NOTICE and COVERT AFFAIRS, will continue their fifth and second seasons respectively on Tuesday, November 1 and Thursday, November 3 with all-new episodes.

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences will celebrate the life and career of Malcolm McDowell with an onstage discussion and a 40th anniversary screening of a new digital restoration of 'A Clockwork Orange' on Friday, September 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

TNT's summer season got off to a solid start last night. The new legal dramedy FRANKLIN & BASH summoned 2,746,000 viewers for its series premiere and proved to be a hit with young adults, according to fast national data from Nielsen Media Research.

Actors Orlando Bloom, Malcolm McDowell and Matthew Rhys, and director Kate Burton have been confirmed to participate in the LA Phil all-Tchaikovsky program led by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel, Thursday and Friday, March 10 and 11, at 8 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, at 2 p.m. The Sunday concert is the second LA Phil LIVE performance, and will be simulcast live in theaters across the country, at 2 p.m. Pacific/5 p.m. Eastern. The all-Tchaikovsky concert program features the composer's three Fantasy-Overtures inspired by Shakespeare plays - Hamlet, The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet. Preceding each of these powerful symphonic poems are selections from the Bard's immortal works performed by the cast of actors (Orlando Bloom as Romeo, Malcolm McDowell as Prospero, and Matthew Rhys as Hamlet). Kate Burton, the prolific Tony-nominated stage and screen actress and daughter of the late Richard Burton, directs this all-star cast and also serves as host for the LA Phil LIVE broadcast.
