Overtone Industries, in collaboration with By The Souls of Our Feet (BTSOOF), is proud to present Part I of their epic tale, Cynosemma: A Dirge from the Dog's Tomb, running for four performances over the weekend of Friday, August 17th through Sunday, August 19, 2018. Co-Directed by Nathan Singh and Sabina Zuniga Varela with music by O-Lan Jones and libretto by Megan Breen, Cynosemma is a ritualistic opera ripped from the myth of Hecuba. Part I is a ceremonial exploration of the ancient but immediate clash between possession and liberation. The infamous Queen of Troy (played by Jones), along with her daughters and a tribe of women face off with the men responsible for the fall of their city. The limited engagement will take place at Son of Semele (3301 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90004). Audience members are invited to stay afterwards for refreshments and a post-show symposium. Overtone Industries, a celebrated force in the evolution of contemporary music theatre and experimental opera, will share the next phase of its epic new multidisciplinary production, ICELAND, in concert form, at the Ford Theatres' stunning, newly renovated amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 8:30pm. Written and composed by O-Lan Jones, in collaboration with critically acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Emmett Tinley, ICELAND is a modern love story, set in a mythical and timeless world, where ancient creatures challenge the hero and heroine on an archetypal journey. The work tells an intimate story, beginning in an Icelandic airport and journeying off the map of the known world, into the realm of "The Hiddenfolk" and the vast mythic inner landscapes of Iceland. The ICELAND Concert at the Ford, presented for the first time with full orchestration and complete score, will be directed and choreographed by local legend Ken Roht, with musical direction by David O, as well as additional creative scenic design elements and impressionistic costumes. Overtone Industries is currently presenting The Spontaneous Combustion Choir World Tour of Los Angeles, a series of performances by the Spontaneous Combustion Choir for Los Angeles audiences, which started in January and runs into March 2015.

Bezerk Productions and Highways Performance Space present Melody of Chaos, an evening of free-spirited and psychologically intense visual and performing art, on Saturday, January 17, 2015. The event features the work of Linda Carmella Sibio, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 1977 and is known for her cathartic performance and visual art that explores madness and creativity.

Casa 0101 Theater, Josefina Lopez, Artistic Director, and Miguel Garcia, Festival Executive Producer, will present Casa 0101's 3rd Annual Brown & Out Theater Festival (BAOTF) featuring a collection of eight new comedic and dramatic short plays celebrating the Latino/a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning/Queer experience. The Festival will be presented on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m., kicking off on Friday, October 11, 2013, National Coming Out Day, and continuing through Sunday, November 3, 2013 at The New Casa 0101 Theater, 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street), Boyle Heights, CA 90033.

Josefina López, Artistic Director of Casa 0101 Theater based in Boyle Heights, CA, along with Miguel Garcia, Producer of Casa 0101 Theater's Brown & Out Theater Festival announced that Casa 0101 Theater has been invited to participate in the 10th Annual International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival to be held in Dublin, Ireland from May 6 - 19, 2013.
