New York City Ballet announced today that Principal Dancers Jenifer Ringer, Janie Taylor, Sebastien Marcovici, and Jonathan Stafford will retire from the Company during the 2014 Winter and Spring Seasons. All four of these Principal Dancers joined the Company during the 1990s as members of the corps de ballet, and have performed countless roles by numerous choreographers during careers spanning from 15 to 24 years with New York City Ballet.

If Opera be the Food of Love, Eat On, starring Chef Matthew Passaclacqua of Lure Grill & Wendy Taucher Dance Opera Theater. Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff/Artistic Producer) will present three free staged readings of 'Cookin'!', a new musical by Debra Barsha and Hollye Levin, with musical director Gillian Berkowitz, directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett. The readings will take place tonight, September 25 @ 6pm and Thursday, September 26 at 1:00pm and 5pm, at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street.

Amas Musical Theatre has announced the first two shows of its 45th Season! The Amas Lab series begins in September with two new musicals: notes to MariAnne and Cookin'! Both shows take place during America's heady post-World War II years, but couldn't be more different.

To coincide with Cougar The Musical's one year anniversary this August, the original Cougar, creator and writer, Donna Moore will join the cast as Clarity for four performances only., taking over the role for Brenda Braxtonwho is out of town performing the role of Velma in Chicago at the California Music Circus. Moore is set to inherit the claws and scratch her way into audience's hearts on August 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th.

To celebrate this amazing milestone, Cougar the Musical will celebrate with an additional block of tickets available now through September 29, and the celebration will kick-off with cake and cocktails - Cougar style tonight, August 2, 2013.

The Joni Fritz's In the Car with Blossom and Len concert reading, featuring Dick Cavett, under the direction of Tony Award and Drama Desk Nominated director/choreographer Lynne Taylor- Corbett, will be held at Guild Hall at the John Drew Theatre (158 Main Street, East Hampton, New York). Joining Mr. Cavett for tonight's reading will be Jane Gabbert, Emily Jon Mitchell, Patricia Randell, Babs Winn and Joshua Perl.

NCI Highlights commemorates choreographic successes originally created during NCI workshops between 2004 and 2012. In total, there have been thirty-seven NCI choreographers, who each created a new piece through this initative. Twenty-two of these original productions have been performed by other companies across the country.
