THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT, by Stephen Adly Guirgis and starring Bobby Cannavale, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Annabella Sciorra and Yul Vázquez, opened last night at the Gerald Schoenfeld Thetare (236 West 45th Street, New York City). Tisa Chang, Artistic Producing Director announces that Pan Asian Repertory Theatre will launch their 34th season with readings of three new plays by women playwrights representing voices from Vietnam, Chinese America and Hawaii: WE ARE (Oct 16 at 7:00pm) by Nguyen thi Minh Ngoc; FALLING LEAVES (Nov 12 at 7:00pm and 13 at 3:00pm) by Adeline Yen Mah; and AIR AND ANGELS (Dec 2 and 3 at 7:00pm) by Anne Noelani Miyamoto. All readings are open to the public with a suggested $10 donation, and are held at ART/New York spaces, 520 8th Ave, 3rd Floor. Elda Ferri and Allen Bain announced today the wrap of principal photography on Director Roberto Faenza's 'Someday This Pain Will Be Useful To You' based on Peter Cameron's award-winning novel of the same name. Praised by critics and readers alike, Cameron's 2007 novel has been favorably compared to 'The Catcher in the Rye.'

Winslet & Foster Lead Polanski-Helmed 'God Of Carnage' FIlm

Deadline.com exclusively reports this morning that Kate Winslet and Jodi Foster will star in the film adaptation of Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning play, God Of Carnage, to be directed by Roman Polanski. Inglorious Basterd's Christoph Waltz and Crash's Matt Dillion will play their spouses. Reza has adapted her original script for the screen alongside Polanski. Though the film is set in Brooklyn, New York, the 12-week filming will begin in Paris in February due to Polanski's legal troubles in the US.

Pasquale, Liu, Cannavale, Potts Set of 'Marry Me' on Lifetime

According to a report by Variety, Steven Pasquale, Lucy Liu, Bobby Cannavale, and Annie Potts are set to star in Marry Me. The Lifetime movie will be broken up into multiple parts and be 4 hours total. The film will be directed by James Hayman, and will revolve around a woman who is looking for her Prince Charming. Marry Me will premiere during the holiday season.
