BRIDGING THE GAP: A traveling group exhibition featuring 50 artworks representing 40 artists from Queens, New York. This multi-venue show, curated by LIC Artists, Inc (Long Island City Artists) and Amy Winter, Director Godwin-Ternbach Museum, in collaboration with Flushing Town Hall, reaches out to the varied communities near LaGuardia Community College, Flushing Town Hall, and Queensborough Community College, to highlight and showcase the broad diversity and creativity of Queens' artists.

Due to popular demand and critical acclaim, WANDA'S MONSTER A Family Musical will receive a commercial Off-Broadway engagement beginning July 13 and running through September 8 at The Vineyard's Dimson Theatre (108 East 15th Street), it has been announced by Barbara Zinn Krieger, Artistic Director of Making Books Sing, the non-profit and theatre company that commissioned the musical and presented it to critical acclaim and sold-out houses earlier this season. The official press re-opening night of WANDA'S MONSTER A Family Musical is Sunday July 21, 2013, and is presented Off-Broadway by Making Books Sing and Jamie Cesa.

High school vocalists from New York and Connecticut will compete on Saturday, June 15 at a regional for the Great American Songbook Vocal Academy & Competition. Sponsored by the Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative, the annual endeavor is the only U.S. competition dedicated solely to the music from Broadway, Hollywood musicals and the Tin Pan Alley era of the early to mid-twentieth century.
