Photo Flash: FROM DOOR TO DOOR Extends Through 11/17 at Mizel Arts and Culture Center

Due to popular demand, the Colorado premiere of "From Door to Door" by James Sherman at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center, 350 South Dahlia, Denver, will be held over through November 17 with additional performances Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2:00 p.m.

Theatre Or and MACC (Mizel Arts and Culture Center) present the Colorado premiere of FROM DOOR TO DOOR by James Sherman opening Saturday, October 5 and running through November 10. FROM DOOR TO DOOR will be featured as part of MACC's annual JAAMM Festival which runs October 15 - November 10.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died penniless in 1791, accusing rival composer Antonio Salieri of poisoning him. In 1823, legend has it Salieri repeatedly and loudly confessed to the murder on the last night of his life. Playwright Peter Shaffer's Amadeus tells of the jealous composer's battle with his God for making him a famous but mediocre talent, while endowing the vulgar Mozart with a heaven-blessed musical gift.

Next to the Vagina Monologues, I believe that this is one of Ms. Ensler's finest works. It truly is an exploration of the imperfection of the woman's body and a mirror to woman's insecurities.
