Just in time for Valentine's Day, Musical Theatre West (MTW) brings to the stage Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, tonight, February 13 - March 1, 2015.

Profiles Theatre continues its 26th Season with the Chicago premiere of The Other Place by Sharr White, directed by Artistic Director Joe Jahraus. The production runs tonight, February 13 - April 5, 2015 at Profiles Theatre's The Main Stage, 4139 N. Broadway. The press opening is Thursday, February 19 at 8pm.

Quit the Road, Jack, a new comedy by Jerry Polner about the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), premieres Thursday March 5 as a guest production of TheaterLab in Manhattan. NAFTA? Well, when the son of a divorced and miserable couple of burnt-out ex-musicians runs away from home to join up with the immigrant worker rights movement, mom and dad are forced to travel across North America together to find their boy. Lincoln Center, the world's largest performing arts center, announces a new program, Boro-Linc, which will offer special free family programs that aim to make the arts more accessible to underserved New Yorkers and increase family engagement in the arts. The new initiative will bring together constituents from across Lincoln Center to present a wide range of performances, workshops, activities and exhibits on Saturdays at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. from March 7 to June 13, with approximately 20 free family-friendly programs scheduled.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced final casting for the upcoming World Premiere production of Five Presidents. Broadway and television veterans Mark Jacoby, Martin L'Herault, Steve Sheridan, Jeff Steitzer, and Brit Whittle, along with Rep Associate Artist Reese Madigan, make up the cast of Five Presidents from Emmy Award-winning writer Rick Cleveland (The West Wing, House of Cards, Mad Men, and Six Feet Under).

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Patti LuPone, Dale Soules, and Michael Urie will be featured in the cast of its upcoming production of SHOWS FOR DAYS, a new play by Douglas Carter Beane, to be directed by Jerry Zaks. The production will begin performances Saturday evening, June 6 and open on Monday, June 29 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

The recipients of the 2015 Martin E. Segal Awards, this year, expanded to encompass nominees from all of Lincoln Center's resident organizations, were announced today by Lincoln Center President Jed Bernstein. The awards will be presented at a special gala evening on the Adrienne Arsht Stage of Alice Tully Hall on March 2.

The LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater world premiere production of VERITE, a new play by Nick Jones, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, is currently in previews. The play features Anna Camp, Oliver Hollmann, Matt McGrath, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Robert Sella, Jeanine Serralles, and Danny Wolohan and will run through Sunday, March 15 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). Patti Lupone eyes two potential Broadway showcases!

The Muny announced today its 2015 production of Oklahoma! will feature the Laurence Olivier Award-winning and Tony Award® nominated choreography of Susan Stroman. The Muny is honored to be the first theater in the world to recreate this extraordinary choreography, last seen in 2004. The Muny production will be directed by Rob Ruggiero, with music direction by Kevin Stites. Ms. Stroman's work will be recreated by Ginger 'Rodgers & Hammerstein's score is everything you dream a musical should be,' said Susan Stroman.

Writers Theatre presents The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, adapted by Wendy Kesselman and directed by Kimberly Senior. The show runs February 24 - June 28, 2015 at Books on Vernon, 664 Vernon Avenue, Glencoe. The Press Openings are Wednesday, March 4, and Thursday, March 5, 2015.

The Old Globe's West Coast Premiere of The Twenty-seventh Man by award-winning novelist Nathan Englander, directed by Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, will now play an extra week of performances -- through March 22 -- due to ticket demand for the originally announced run. Tony and Emmy Award winner Hal Linden ("Barney Miller," The Rothschilds) leads a cast of Broadway and Globe veterans including Ron Orbach, Robert Dorfman, Eli Gelb, James Shanklin, and Lowell Byers. The Twenty-seventh Man will run February 14 through March 22 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run February 14-18. Opening night is Thursday, February 19 at 8:00 p.m.

The 50th season of Lincoln Center's Great Performers series, which will run from October 14, 2015 through June 4, 2016, was announced today by Jane Moss, Ehrenkranz Artistic Director.
