The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today the motion picture and long-form television nominations for the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards. The categories include: The Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures; The Producers Guild of America Producer of the Year Award in Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures; and The David L. Wolper Producer of the Year Award in Long-Form Television. The documentary film category and other television category nominations were already announced by the Guild in December 2011.

CBS and NFL Reach New Nine-Year Broadcast Rights Agreement Through 2022 Season

The National Football League announced today that CBS has been awarded a new nine-year broadcast rights agreement that runs through the 2022 season. In the new deal, CBS Sports remains the broadcast home of the NFL's American Football Conference (AFC). In addition, as part of the NFL's expanded 'flexible scheduling,' CBS will also broadcast games from the National Football Conference (NFC). This will be the first time CBS will broadcast AFC and NFC matchups in the same season. CBS will broadcast Super Bowl L in 2016, Super Bowl LIII in 2019 and Super Bowl LVI in 2022, in addition to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans in 2013.

CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) and Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK) today announced a comprehensive, ten-year agreement that provides for retransmission consent of CBS Television Stations until the year 2020. The long-term, wide-ranging pact also includes carriage of the full suite of Showtime Networks, Comcast's launch of the Smithsonian Channel and expanded distribution of CBS College Sports. In addition, Comcast will have greatly expanded on-demand access to CBS and SHOWTIME content via their cable and online platforms.
