According to Deadline.com, Glenn Close will play a leader in Nova Corp in Marvel Studios' upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy. The movie, directed by James Gunn, is aiming to begin production next month.

'Humor Abuse,' the hilarious and heartfelt story of growing up in a circus, created by Lorenzo Pisoni and Erica Schmidt, directed by Schmidt and featuring a tour de force performance by Pisoni, will be presented at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum, September 17 through November 3, 2013. The opening is set for September 21.

Manhattan Theatre Club's extended engagement of GOLDEN AGE, the third play in Terrence McNally's opera trilogy, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, begins the final week of its run tomorrow at 7 PM at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). When it ends its engagement on Sunday, January 13, the production will have played 20 preview performances and 48 regular performances.

Chiller kicks off a new year of scary good programming with the debut of its first original special of 2013, Chiller 13: Most Horrifying Hookups. In addition, this winter the network will feature two new-to-Chiller debuts with R.L. Deadline reports that Marvel Studios may have cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt in their upcoming superhero film GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. Recent reports have revealed that Joel Edgerton, Jack Huston, Jim Sturgess, Lee Pace and Eddie Redmayne are also in the running to star in the film.
