'One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready now go-go-go' to Broadway San Jose to experience Million Dollar Quartet, May 8 - 13th for a limited engagement. It's a good bet that you'll be dancing all night long with rock and roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lewis as they bring you along on their famous jam session.

Running tandem with the awards, one courageous band will board a tricked-out bus and zigzag across the region in attempt to break Jay-Z's Guinness World Records® title for the Most Live Concerts In 24 Hours (Multiple Cities) hitting a total of 8 cities starting in Memphis and ending in New Orleans.

On December 4, 1956, an auspicious twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley together. The place was Sun Records' storefront studio in Memphis. The man who made it happen was Sam Phillips, the 'Father of Rock 'n' Roll,' who discovered them all. The four young musicians united for the only time in their careers for an impromptu recording that has come to be known as one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions of all time.

Dances Patrelle presents the return of Francis Patrelle's GILBERT & SULLIVAN, The Ballet!, a raucous evening of classical ballet set to live choral arrangements of G&S favorites, featuringprofessional dancers from across the country and some of the most talented students from NYC ballet schools. It's a rousing old school concert disguised as musical theater--a forgivable sin thanks to the amazing performances turned in by four actors impersonating legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Four students representing the Education Through Music Foundation and the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will be the highlight of the Education Through Music's Annual Gala held tonight, May 1, at the Grand Hyatt (109 East 42nd Street). The four children working with the MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET cast are middle school students at St. Anselm School in the South Bronx, an Education Through Music partner school since 2007.

The Civic Center of Greater Des Moines is scheduled to bring some of Broadway's most acclaimed and loved shows to Iowan audiences during their 2012-2013 season.
