Samuel French has announced that Shakespeare in Love is now available for licensing to schools across the United States and Canada. This new high school edition, developed in conjunction with the Disney Theatrical Group, includes an accompanying Production Handbook.

Theatrical Outfit, located at the Balzer Theater at Herren's on Luckie Street in downtown Atlanta, continues its 2018-2019 Season of Beauty with the Atlanta premiere of The Pitmen Painters, British writer Lee Hall's (Billy Elliot) dramatization of William Feaver's book about a real-life group of English miners from the Geordie region who become unexpected stars of the high society art circles of London between the World Wars. Both comedic and stirring, The Pitmen Painters, directed by Adam Koplan (Artistic Director of Flying Carpet Theatre Company and director of The Outfit's 2018 hit Perfect Arrangement), features an all-Atlanta ensemble and runs February 27 - March 24, 2019.

During the auction lot for ROCKETMAN: an epic musical fantasy about the incredible human story of Elton John, Alexander Gilkes welcomed to the stage actor Taron Egerton, star of the upcoming motion picture film. Following a short preview of the trailer and a round of bidding on a trip to the London premiere of the film, the audience was taken by surprise when Gilkes asked Taron to sing one of Elton John's songs. Only agreeing to the performance if Elton played the piano, guests were brought to their feet as they watched Elton John take his position on the keys while Taron belted out the lyrics to one of his most beloved ballads, "Tiny Dancer."

Network will host a post-show talk back on Wednesday, March 20 following the 7pm performance in partnership with American Express.
