The Williamston Theater, mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company located at 122 S. Putnam in downtown Williamston, celebrates its 5th Season starting in September. The 2010-2011 Season explores how we're defined by our history and place, and how we build and shape our homes, our lives and ourselves.

Today, in order to fulfill its commitment to deliver daring and diverse work, the Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced special schedules for certain shows in its upcoming season: The Great Game: Afghanistan, The Last Cargo Cult, and The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs.

The world premiere production of 'SWEET, SWEET MOTHERHOOD,' by Jeremy Kareken, in collaboration with Professor Lee M. Silver, a comedy with scientific issues and moral dilemmas, will begin previews on Thursday, July 8, at HERE (www.here.org ), 145 Sixth Avenue (enter on Dominick Street, one block south of Spring Street).

Falcon Theatre presents Down The Road by Lee Blessing and Directed by Ed Cohen. Lee Blessing's provocative play explores some of the deepest and darkest places in the human psyche. Down the Road is a powerful drama about good and evil and the very fine, grey line that separates to two.

The New York Times is reporting that Zachary Quinto, known for his roles in HEROES and STAR TREK will appear as Louis Ironson and Broadway star Billy Porter will appear as Belize in the upcoming production of ANGELS IN AMERICA.

Those who have been unable to reserve seats to The Fountain Theatre's sold out production of The Ballad of Emmett Till will get another chance. The Fountain Theatre has announced a third extension through May 30.

Tony Award winner Michele Pawk is set to star in the upcoming production of THE BLONDE, THE BRUNETTE, AND THE VENGEFUL REDHEAD, opening at Pittsburgh's City Theatre on May 8th. The production will see Pawk take on seven different roles in the one-woman show by Robert Hewett.
