Doug's Simpson's NUMB on ABC's GROWN-ISH

Ironhorse Music Group recording artist Doug Simpson's song 'Numb' will be featured in an episode of the hit show, 'Grown-ish.' The song, featuring Slim, will air in a March 2018 episode of the spin-off of ABC's hit series 'Black-ish.'
The producer, songwriter and recording artist's work has spanned network and cable television as well as major and independent film projects including Blue Bloods, Ray Donovan, MTV's True Life, HBO's First Look: Straight Outta Compton, Fast 5, Fast and Furious 6, and A River Washes Over Me, respectively.
The episode is set to air in March 2018.
Freeform's 'grown-ish,' a half-hour comedy tackling current social issues and complexities facing both students and administrators, follows Zoey (Yara Shahidi), Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow's (Tracee Ellis Ross) popular, entitled, stylish and socially active 17-year-old daughter from ABC's Emmy-nominated comedy 'Black-ish,' as she heads into her freshman year of college at Cal U.
The series is produced by ABC Signature Studios and is executive produced by Kenya Barris, Helen Sugland, E. Brian Dobbins, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne and Julie Bean. 'grown-ish' airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on Freeform.

To reach an expanded audience, The Negro Ensemble Company, Inc. (NEC) will re-mount its 2017 revival of 'A Soldier's Play' by Charles Fuller, directed by Charles Weldon, from February 14 to March 4, 2018 at Gene Frankel Theatre, 24 Bond Street. The piece is historically NEC's most famous and successful play. It was produced last fall at Theatre 80 St. Marks as the culminating event of NEC's landmark 50th season, playing to full houses and glowing notices. The cast of that revival will return intact for the Gene Frankel Theatre run.
