After completing their 40th anniversary year, highlighted by an all-star gala in May, New Federal Theatre will announce its 2011-'12 season.

According to People.com, pop star Rihanna is among a handful of actresses in strong contention to take on the role of Whitney Houston in an upcoming film biopic about the late recording artist.

Winners of the 43rd annual NAACP Image Awards were presented last Friday, February 17th in Los Angeles.
