Ryan Murphy is a very busy man these days. With three televisions shows on the air (Glee, American Horror Story, and the New Normal), he is also working on bringing the Tony-winning The Normal Heart to the big screen. Murphy recently revealed in an interview with Vogue: ' I like people who are like, You know what? I don't care what you think. I have something to say. That's why I like Larry Kramer. That's why I want to do that movie.'

In association with the West Coast premiere of George C. Wolfe's Tony Award-winning production of The Normal Heart, Larry Kramer's landmark play focusing on the early days of the AIDS crisis in New York City in the 1980s, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) will offer numerous special events through its InterACT series, designed to give patrons opportunities to get closer to the action while making a whole night out of their evening at the theater.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced that The Normal Heart, Larry Kramer's landmark play focusing on the early days of the AIDS crisis in New York City in the 1980s, will open the 2012-13 season this fall, playing today, Sep 13-Oct 7.
